Logo Design Brief

I'm looking to tweak our existing logo for my company, GeoMetrix. We are computer software company providing internet based services to Industrial Railcar Shippers so they may better manage their fleet. Sounds boring but, it's not. :)

We are looking to re-launch our web presence and I need a new look for our logo, currently a wire-frame globe. As this never indicated what industry we serve, I recently added a railcar coming around the globe. I’m still not happy with it.

I’d like to keep the wire frame globe concept and add a rail aspect to it. We have had our company name beside the globe for several years now and plan to keep it in that position. That being said, I would be curious to see some thinking ‘outside the box’.

The logo and company name colours are blue and black as shown at GeoMetrix.ca
