Logo Design Brief

Looking to have a logo designed for my new consulting company called Space Jump Consulting. We are just starting out and our mission statement is to make digital investment, advertising, media, and technology simpler for folks who know nothing and clearer for folks who know a ton. Some of the services we will be offering include setting up programmatic advertising campaigns, monetizing web traffic, analytics, SEO/SEM and social media management.

I'm looking for a clean and straightforward looking design, which would include the words "Space Jump" as well as an icon somewhere among them. I'd like the icon itself to be something along the lines of a space helmet, or space suit, and incorporate a star as well if possible. I've attached a mockup I created myself - the font used is Futura (Light and Bold), and the icon is something I found on Google Images. I'd like to have an icon similar to that only with original artwork (clearly I cannot use something I pulled off google). This is just a mockup so feel free to get creative and move the elements around/change them as you see fit.

I'm pretty happy with the current brand colors (teal, yellow, white, on a black background) but feel free to experiment with other combinations if you like. Same goes for the font - feel free to offer alternatives. The logo itself including the icon should be mostly flat, as is the current style with logos these days. I've attached another example of a space helmet icon that I like. If you think a full space-man would work better feel free to design that!

I'm also a big fan of the use of negative space, such as the logos featured on this site: https://designshack.net/articles/graphics/80-clever-negative-space-logo-designs. Would love to see something that makes use of that.

I'm a big fan of the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey and have taken some of my creative inspiration from it for this endeavor. I've attached some images that might help you capture this as well.

Will be needing the logo in Adobe Illustrator AI vector format.
