Logo Design Brief

We need logo design for the first Integrated Veterinary Medicine clinic in Cairns, Australia. We will be offering animal rehabilitation (chiropractic, physiotherapy, myofascial treatments) and Natural Veterinary Medicine (herbal medicine) as well as all the traditional treatments you find in a small vet clinic. It's incredibly important that we look professional and reflect that our vet, Dr. Liza, is professionally qualified to do these specialist treatments. It needs to be immediately recognisable as a Vet Clinic but reflect the love and care for the best solution to our animal patients. The mobile service currently uses a generic design that does not include a horse. Would like to have dog, cat and horse in the logo (although we will see other species as well). We will have a small boutique type clinic with modern state of the art veterinary equipment, but plan to expand to multi-vet in the future.
We like the lime green and possibly blue colours. Cairns is situated where the reef (blue) meets the rain forest (green) and is a major tourist destination. Need to look professional, friendly and trustworthy, but also very personal and individual (as our approach to each patient will be on individual basis). Our main clients will be people with fur babies but we need to attract all pet owners as we are a start up business without a client list. Please help us :)

Must have

• Obvious Veterinary clinic design
• Horse, dog, cat image
• Prefer clean stylized lines
• Immediately recognizable as a brand - like current business card logo, which jumps out and is easily remembered
• Relaxing to look at, pleasant, we live in paradise here in Cairns!
• Cute and friendly is good
• Animals in the image must be "smiling"

Nice to have

• A heart shaped design is nice reflecting the love and care. Should be clean and simple and very recognizable by the clients. Work-out lime green is a great colour, but can also reflect the blue tones (we are where the blue reef meets the green rainforest). We live in the tropical paradise of Cairns, the logo can reflect this.
• I work with my hands, so a hand may be included but not a cut off floating one. For example hands holding animals or petting animals if it can be made clean and not cluttered.

Should not have

• Anything that suggest animal massage or any unprofessional service
• Anything that does not suggest "Veterinary Clinic"
• No generic animal pictures available for free on the net
• No obvious cartoon animals (clean line drawings are ok)
• No completely minimalist animal images
• Strictly no red, orange, yellow or brown tones
