Web Design Brief

Need a wordpress blogging website for author/speaker/coach.
I have paid for hosting on hostgator.
I am currently writing a book - Countdown to College - Steps and strategies to prepare you to thrive in college and beyond. Eventually, I will have an Academic/Life Coaching program targeting high school and college students. This website's purpose is to build my email list. I can offer the following reports as incentive for email sign-up:

High school is becoming more and more stressful for students. Not only are they taking more AP classes than ever before, and often spending $1,000’s on SAT/ACT prep programs, most are NOT prepared for success in college. Only 19% of students are graduating from college within 4 years and only 56% are graduating within 6 years. With the cost of higher education skyrocketing, each extra year of school can costs families $40,000 - $60,000 when you factor in living expenses. Then, when students do graduate, they are often underemployed.


Anne's approach is whole person oriented. Her programs help students learn life skills in addition to the study, time management skills, etc. offered by most academic coaching programs. Our program addresses all of the major causes of failure to graduate within 4 years, and is based on sound educational research. Anne's program initially provides the daily interaction needed to successfully change behaviors and seat new success habits, unlike many programs in which students interact with coaches only once a week.
Bio
Anne North is a certified teacher and holds advanced certification in academic coaching and tutoring. She also is a certified trainer in the Jack Canfield Success Principles. She has three successful adult children, and helped them overcome learning differences and thrive.
