The cover page is for the second book in a series of books of short stories, all with an unexpected twist at the end.
The book cover is to show a good looking, well-built man in his thirties with black curly hair and very sure of himself. He is at an art gallery looking at pictures of the Old Masters or Classical style of paintings.
He sees what he thinks could be a painting of the Grand Canal, in Venice by Canaletto (similar to the one shown below as he painted many pictures of this scene, some real and some imaginary), amongst the other paintings. If the book cover shows one painting, it needs to be a painting of the Grand Canal. If there are many paintings in the art gallery, they need to be Old Masters or classical art, but it is not essential to have a painting of the Grand Canal included.
