Brief:
A new logo needs to be designed for a new start-up.

Logo Text:
The start-ups name is Goldmark Executive and the logo will have to use those exact words of “Goldmark Executive” without the quotes of course ;). And only the G and the E should be upper case.

Company:
The start-up is a Management Consultancy providing services to the very corporate finance industry known as PE (Private Equity).

Other Information:
Goldmark Executive's unique selling point is Cost Reduction for the PE industry.

The start-up is a Management Consultancy providing services to the very corporate finance industry known as PE (Private Equity).

PE clients tend to be even higher up the food chain than CEO's as they are the owners and tend to boss them about. So, very corporate indeed.

Requirements

Must have

• A simple symbol, and stylish font.
• Symbol should be separate from the text
• Logo should not have a background. Therefore the background must be transparent.
• Colour Scheme:
• No doubt the temptation is of course to use the colour gold. That's fine but bear in mind that this Logo is to be used in the start-ups Website and other mediums. It also needs to scale appropriately as well to those mediums.
• Printable:
• There is a requirement that this Logo look legible when printed out as hard copy. Even in Black & White. You should print out your final design yourself and check how it looks on hard copy.
• Usage:
• The final Logo is to be used in the start-ups Website (background will likely be white or vanilla in colour for the website), Presentations, Letterheads, Business cards, Envelopes and other Stationary.
• Final Files:
• One of them should be at least .png.
• The others can be .pst or .eps if you like.

Nice to have

• Resolution 300 ppi or above

Should not have

• The style should not be joking or playful.
• Symbol should not be difficult to see. Simple.
• There should not be a character like a man or person in the logo.
