Logo Design Brief

Hi. I have a logo, but just don't think it sizzles. I've tried several with little luck. Am hoping you can help.

My current website is http://californiacannabislaw.org/ if you look at that you will see that the home page just isn't that appealing.

I want some visial WOW factor, that people will remember. Something that makes sense logically and visually for lawyers who help cannabis business comply with the many laws they face, and is inviting, but professional.
