Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for the pet hotel I will start on one of the most beautiful islands in the Netherlands, called "Vlieland". This pet hotel will be situated near the shore, just behind the dunes, and will give space to 18 dogs and 10 cats. Clients will be both the island residents and the tourists visiting the island for their holidays, accompanied by their pets. I'll also organize pet related lectures, courses and small events. It would be great if the logo will be strong enough to use also on merchandise items like beach towels and caps. I tend to the colour Aquamarine but I am open for alternatives and/or combinations. The design should communicate "loving care, safety, feeling at home".

Target Market(s)

Mainly: Island residents and Dutch and German tourists visiting the island for holidays, inviting them to bring their pets with them to stay close to where they are. Further: pet lovers interested in learning more about (handling/caring) their pets.
