Book Cover Design Brief

I need a strong, clean, masculine cover of a book that focuses on helping men restore honor to what it means to be a good husband. (I also need a back cover and spine done as well). I would like the cover to be either a white, red, or black cover. I have attached 3 books that I would like to use as examples to model after. I also attached a word document to show the potential layouts I would like to see and how that parallel the example covers.

- Book is 150 pages long
- Size is 5.25 x 8

Requirements

Must have

• - A design that resembles/has a similar feel to one of the three examples that are attached and laid out similarly to one of the 3 designs in the word doc "3 Book Designs"
• - These elements on the front cover: Title: The Samurai Husband, Subtitle: Restoring the honor of a Christ-centered marriage, Author Name: Matt Ulrich
• - A strong design that is simple yet creative.
• - Strong masculine font that is bold but not too flashy
• - Red should be included either as the title font color or as the overall cover color.
• - The back of the book should have the attached file "Back of the book" text on the back

Nice to have

• - A color contrast, like a strip of another color (see "example 3" attached file) across the front for the subtitle or the author name.
• - Including the attached sword file as a somewhat transparent image on the cover, but absolutely not necessary.
• - If there is going to be any highlighting of words in the subtitle, they should be the word "honor" and "Christ-centered"

Should not have

• Any religious symbols, such as a cross.
