Logo Design Brief

I'm after a logo design for my website and work as a contractor. I'm a .NET developer specializing in Sitecore and eCommerce solutions (i.e. I'm a programmer). I'm after a logo that is modern, but also has a feminine edge. I'm open to any colour and have no existing banding and guidelines to constrain the work. I do however like the jewel tones in the attached image.
