Logo Design Brief

I am a pianist, piano teacher, blogger and developer of music studio resources, sheet music, and teaching ideas. I'm looking for a clean and professional design that has a forward-thinking edge. I am not a traditional music educator and need a modern appeal.

I recently viewed a very cool blog logo that had a piano keyboard inside of a lightbulb. Some element of the unexpected or "why didn't I think of that," should be present in the design. The blog is intended to help piano teachers run more efficient teaching businesses and to find better ways of using technology, mindfulness, and creativity to operate a passion-filled business. I see so many tired, stressed-out teachers, who are doing everything the hard way, but I want to blog about ways that we can be freed from negative mindsets and knock down barriers that are preventing us from working at a high energy level that is productive and fulfilling. In essence, I wish to creatively rebrand the image of professional piano teaching.

The blog that I am launching will be The Creative Piano Teacher and the domain will be creativepianoteacher.com.
