Logo Design Brief

Website name: findmynest.house

There is not much to be done as I am happy with the attached rendition with the need for minor changes. I like the artsy yet clear connection between a person, a nest and a home in the attached graphic. I would like to see a rendition of this this with the house rather being the same blue as defined in the attached Coldwell logo parameters. This nest/house logo will be mine and my branding, but since I do need to position the Coldwell Banker logo in the proximity of mine I would like to see the house with a match in color to the Coldwell Banker blue defined in attached documentation as well as a complimentary color to that blue. I like the brown color below defining a person providing strength to a home that could also be viewed as a tree branch - bringing back the correlation to a nest. I really want to keep in line with the attached design with minor tweaks. Color and maybe adding two small windows above the entrance and maybe a chimney - to bring out the notion of house a bit more.

Website will be content rich for buyers and sellers of real estate. Clients tend to be in upper income bracket.

The logo needs to be integrated with name/tag line and I also need a stand alone logo without name/tag line incorporated. The graphic logo should be able to stand alone and identify with the site name (find my nest) Please be creative with logo - integrating the notion of nest with home - and ideally a person. A thought that needs further tweaking is attached as a sample. I don't love the house being green as pictured as this is not a logo about a home that saves energy, but I like the idea of the art work. It's crisp, clean and understandably relates a nest (the person looks enough like a tree branch) to finding a home. It is attached. You may not need to do much other than change the color of the house and provide options that include the my name and tag line. Aim for a color change to the house being the blue in the Coldwell Banker logo as defined in the attached.

The Coldwell Banker logo will need to be in the vicinity of my name and logo so the colors need to be complimentary to the Coldwell Banker logo if blue option is used but I could also use the black and white option - would like to see both a color and black and white option for logo. I am not building the Coldwell Banker brand, I am building my name and brand but must include their logo in the vicinity of mine as mandated by corporate policy - only on my home page. Subsequent pages I do not need to include Coldwell logo. It can and should be smaller than my logo.

Need three versions:

1) Coldwell Banker logo incorporated with mine (but less less prominent)

2) One without Coldwell logo incorporated with mine

3) one version that has only the house graphic - both a black and white and color version.

Could use the black and white or blue version of Coldwell logo - aim for black and white unless the blue really works with color choices of my name/tagline and logo. Corporate use of logo per Coldwell is attached.

Design Crowd has yet to let me down. Hope the creative juices are flowing as usual! Thanks gang!!

Must have

• Graphical art design which integrates the notion of a nest and home. Professional yet with some eclectic playfulness to it. Have fun with it, but connecting the house with a nest and preferably a person would be key. Again, the attached picture seems very close but if there is a spark of an idea it brings - go for it!! As an option, I would like to see a rendition of the attached graphic with the house the same blue as defined in Coldwell Banker logo (color saturations attached in documentation) with the art being very close to what has already been done.
• Three versions needed: one with no text and just graphical logo (black and white and color version), one with my name (Sandi Park) and tag line (Connected by Trust) incorporated, one with name/slogan/graphic and Coldwell Banker logo incorporated Must be square with at least 512 pixels tall and wide.

Nice to have

• I would like to see a bit of imagination with the style of the home rendered. I like the idea of a person holding the house with the person looking like a tree to incorporate the notion of the house being a nest. I like the idea of the sample picture. Maybe a little more imagination with the house design, but not too much as I would like to keep it simple and clean and lose the green color for the house.
• I like aerial or potentially a version of script or calligraphy, but my name needs to be not too feminine in how it presents as my audience is also men and some of my strongest broker competitors are men. Think Professional. Strong. Trusted - with a touch of feminine.

Should not have

• The house should not be green as this is not about energy saving homes. It is geared toward buyers and sellers of homes and land. This does not have to do with energy conservation
• Avoid green color all together throughout - name/tag line and logo graphic
