Logo Design Brief

We need a logo that reflects a stable real estate investment and real estate development company. We are a stable yet innovative company and we would like our logo to represent those qualities. We realize that the company name is boring, and therefore are looking to have a logo that helps our clients and partners to easily identity with our company. This is not an effort to create a brand (as with Apple or McDonald's) but more of a cross between what typically might be an attorney's logo and a construction company's logo. Color is acceptable, but should be conservative and strategic.

Residential style sloped roof elements are not appropriate for us.
Our projects are commercial developments (typically flat roofs as on suburban office buildings and towers).
