Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new company based in Houston, Texas called Telos Oil and Gas. Our company is involved in the exploration and production of oil and gas in the United States. Telos is a Greek noun meaning: "purpose", "goal", "aim" or "ultimate object". The design should communicate action and growth.

Update 6 April: Following discussions with our team we are pleased with both the number and quality of the response to our logo contest. We have received more than enough logos using the oil droplet and gas flame motif and do not need more of that type. Our team is more attracted to and would like to see more logo ideas based on the ancient Greek origins or the meaning of the word “Telos” as defined above.
