Logo Design Brief

Our family is creating a team of Realtors in the Atlanta, Georgia area, called "The McLuhan Group". We focus on residential, but will also work in land sales and international real estate sales. Our logo should not be too expansive because it must be clear and readable even when scaled down for business cards, etc. We want the logo to communicate friendly professionalism - not too formal, but not too flashy or bold either. Clean, inviting, uniquely creative, and visually memorable.

Due to GA law, we must include the name and logo of our Broker company on our business card. It can be smaller and in a bottom corner, but it must be present. I'll send samples of company cards once our logo is selected, as well as the company logo. I want my picture on the card, so will also provide a few headshots when the time comes.

Must have

• Eye appeal that has the affect of pulling viewers toward a relationship with us. We are highly relational people, so our logo should reflect warmth, touch, and trust.

Nice to have

• We do better at fine-tuning an existing mark, rather than trying to pre-define every aspect of it. Our preference is to give the designer(s) free reign within a broad set of parameters.

Should not have

• Cheesy glitz or glitter.
