Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new real estate project in Norway. The project consists of 900 new apartments and 100 new high-end single houses. The project is called "Teglverksbyen", which translates to "City of Brickworks" in English.

Historically there were brickwork on the site where the new houses and apartments will be built. The workers dig out clay and formed it into bricks, which was then sold and used to build buildings throughout all of Norway. However, this business was closed over 50 years ago. (Google: Teglverk to see it) Attached you will find some images of the brickwork industry and one example of the houses the we build.

The new buildings on the site will not be made out of bricks, but we want to honor the history of the site by using the name "Teglverksbyen" (City of Brickworks).

We want a modern and exclusive design look. A minimalistic and elegant design would be appreciated. Be creative.
