Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for 'Asylum Matters' our project which is hosted by the charity, City of Sanctuary, which aims to create a culture of welcome for refugees and asylum-seekers in the UK. https://cityofsanctuary.org/ This project will work in partnership locally and nationally to improve the lives of refugees and people seeking asylum through social and political change.

Target Market(s)

The main ‘audiences’ include: our project partners such as charities, community groups and local service providers, refugees and people seeking asylum themselves, as well as decision-makers such as parliamentarians.

• Please look at the attached document for inspiration which gives you an idea of the kinds of logos used in our sector.

Should not have

• It should not portray refugees and asylum-seekers as victims or passive beneficiaries but as active, empowered and equal partners of our project.
• Please also note that we are not a business but a charity so we would not like an overly corporate or formal design.
