Wordpress Design Brief

Sexy Wordpress theme Design. with basic CMS for me to do the uploading of content later...

we will need a home page, and regular site pages with the theme

Although we want a slick and clean design, user-friendliness is a must.

A call to action 'button' that says "Make Your QR Code" must be included and feature prominently on the site. this will link out to a back-end system that generates QR codes and collects payments. You do not need to design for this functionality, just have the button so we can link to it...

you have free rein on graphics, logos, and colours. feel free to create our brand and image in a way that you think will impress the client types listed above.

There is a high possibility that we will also include embedded video on the front page and on other pages as tutorials and instructional pieces of information. these will probably be hosted on youTube and not on the server but again we are open to advice or changes.

the vast majority of content has already been written and can be delivered as or if needed during the design process.

I am a semi-professional SEO person and as such would like the ability to update content and title and meta tags and also Meta data for the images on the site. and would expect these options available in the backend of the wordpress theme when done


Homepage: our homepage should be clean and simple with an iPhone/apple type feel to it.

we would like the standard menu options of homepage, about us, contact us etc...

Unique menu options of: QR code generator, why choose us, Learn more...

Drop-down/expandable menus should also be used to further elaborate the main titles listed above.

headings in the sub-menus would mainly be around the Learn More heading.. along the lines of, who can use QR codes, where to put your QR code, what are QR codes, why you should use QR codes etc...
