Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo for our organic farm and orchard. Our farm is located in southwest Colorado next to the archaeological site known as Chimney Rock, near Mesa Verde.
We would like our new logo to draw from the history of ancient the Puebloan people who used these twin rock spires as a way to mark equinox and solstice events yet to be contemporary enough to be seen as timeless and relevant to all ages.
We are the only Organic Certified farm within 200 miles and are known for exceptional fruit and produce grown within the pristine environment of the San Juan National Forest.
The ideal logo will capture the mystery of this ancient landmark, the promise of wholesome food and agritourism adventure.

Target Market(s)

Local residents (average income 50k+), college and health food stores. Target customer cares about what they eat. They are well aware of health effects of E.coli contamination, pesticide and growth hormone impact on health. They tend to be in their mid twenties to mid forties and are socially connected and progressive.

Must have

• Should have the twin spires represented somehow. Do a Google search to see the actual rock formation. A silhouette would work. The business sells primarily to local customers through a Community Supported Agriculture subscriptions and to health food stores.
  Want a strong creative graphic centered logo that implies the core values of healthful food, ancient history of Chimney Rock to predict seasonal equinox, and the sense of adventure.
  Want a creative,out of the box take on the core values.
  Will need a png version.

Nice to have

• We sit in the Piedra River that is a gold medal fly fishing river as well as a class 4 and 5 river for rafting. The farm is within a National Forest and has hiking access to thousands of mile of terrain. We would like to capture the idea of pure water, nutritious food and wilderness adventure.
