Logo Design Brief

Mimoza Vintage Clothing is currently an on-line clothing store that specializes in women’s fashion in the pin-up, retro and vintage style.
Our company is a new start. We are trying to establish an outlet for Mimoza’s passion, which is women’s fashion.
We want to establish a presence in the New Zealand market that allows Mimoza to develop name recognition and a positive reputation that enables her to build and grow her company. We have plans to open up retail stores initially in New Zealand, but eventually expand to Australia and the United States. Additionally, we have aspirations to design and sell our own clothes under the Mimoza label.
Mimoza believes in empowering women by creating an impressive image through fashion.
In addition to retailing the clothing ourselves, we would also like to wholesale clothing to regional retailers and distributors
Our clothing range will be imported from UK and USA suppliers and fashion designers and our focus will be on quality garments inspired from 1950"s and 1960"s .
Our website will be based on retro colors and pastels such as mint, gold, lavender, light pink, polka dots , light blue etc, with strong accent on femininity , elegance and classy outfits for everyday wear and special occasions. Our logo should be including all of the above message. We would be happy to have some female form in the logo.
We are a start up and need to generate a logo that can be used for the website, business cards, flyers, catalogs. The logo can be scalable in detail for the various products

Requirements

Must have

• Class, style, femininity, elegance and affordability. Would love to have myself and Napoleon in the image.. Must be cartoon like ( look at Betty Boop for inspiration) and must be 1950's style dress , shoes and pose. Must be sexy and attractive to look at the image. look at the images provided here
• Mimoza believes in empowering women by creating an impressive image through fashion. The focus is on feminine elegance is from 1950's and 1960's .
• The website will be based on soft pastel colors and the logo must be standing out strongly portraying the image of a fashionable, elegant and classy women.
• The image must incorporate the company name and an image that invokes fashion in the pinup style of 1950's and 1960's era . Look at emblem logo or character logo choices below.

Nice to have

• Logo enclosed in a shape with illustration or character from 1950's pin up style.
• You can see photos of Mimoza in several of her pinup shoots, along with her dog, Napoleon. She draws inspiration from the Betty Boop cartoons and loves pictures of Betty and Pudgy. If there is a way to cartoonize her and her dog into some images, she would be interested in some options like that. (For example, the photo of her painting with Napoleon would be interesting, but the hat and hair would need to be put into a pinup style.) However, we want to choose options from the full spectrum of design ideas.

Should not have

• Orange, brown or mustard color in the logo .
