Logo Design Brief

I am a realtor working primarily with young professionals who are either purchasing their first homes, or upgrading from their first home to a more permanent location to raise a family.

I need a fun, classic logo design that incorporates imagery of home. As my company name suggests, however (wiseacre basically means "smartass"), I'm trying to capture a playful feel for my brand that subtly pokes some fun at the stuffiness inherent throughout my industry. I'm curious to see your ideas on how to capture that!

Most importantly, I need the logo to be functional as a stamp.I will actually be making a rubber stamp with your logo (and one with my office info), and will be stamping it on marketing materials and envelopes.

I would prefer the design be squared or rectangular (landscape) as opposed to the classic "round stamp with banner" format, though I'm open to your input if you think you have an especially nice idea.

For demonstration purposes (if possible), could I see an example of your logo as a stamp in red ink on a brown craft paper background?

I have uploaded some examples of logos that capture the general feel of what I'm going for.

Requirements

Must have

• Functionality as a rubber stamp is a must-have!
• Imagery to indicate that I'm in the business of real estate. Houses, keys, columns, etc. I'm open to a lot of different concepts here, as long as it conveys the kind of business.
• I would very much prefer a "classic" styling for your design. Decorative borders, fonts, etc. I really enjoy sleek, modern, minimalistic logos, but it's not what I'm looking for for my brand.

Nice to have

• As I wrote in the project description, I'm hoping to see some logo ideas that capture some subtle playfulness in a classic design. I understand that that's a bit of an odd request, so please don't consider it MANDATORY to have something funny or silly. However, if you have an interesting idea, I would love to see it!

Should not have

• Reliance on multiple colors or subtle shading to read properly. Because this will be used as a stamp, the entire logo must work in a single color (I will be using either red or black ink).
