Logo Design Brief

I would like a simple design with the name (CNP Electrical) and a picture symbolising a Torus (not the BULL, its the shape of the magnetic field around and through Earth).
I would like the symbol to be detailed for my web site but have the ability to easily remove some detail keeping the outline and embroil on shirts.
I would like a modern design which will appeal to high end Clients, Architects and Builders.
I have thoughts of a two tone logo, for example "CNP Electrical" in blue and the "Torus" in red. The Torus centre runs though the centre of "CNP Electrical" and around the outside of "CNP Electrical".
The Torus could even divide "CNP Electrical" through the space.
I'm open to any other suggestions, i would like to know what a real designer could bring to the table.
My target audience is Architects, Builders and High End Customers.
My business is Electrical, but we are currently doing a lot of Security installations, so the emphasis is NOT on the "Electrical", but more so the CNP.
CNP may not have to be in CAPS, i don't mind "Cnp" or even "cnp".
The font needs to be very clear.
I don't want running writing, or ALL CAPITAL LETTERS.
