**About the company: Concerto Analytics**
We are a start up company that sells consulting services and technology to mining companies to and save dramatic amounts of money through becoming more efficient.
We are based in Melbourne, Australia, but our clients are from around the world.
Our main product is a driver tree (see https://youtu.be/PqykBp5KQcs) which enables mining companies to see where and how to increase value across the whole organization. We are going to rebrand the Helix Driver Tree under our new company ‘Concerto Analytics” and we will now call the software “Symphony” value driver.
We chose the name ‘concerto’ because we see our technology as a way of helping large organizations to perform as an orchestra which is united in its behaviour and objectives. In contrast, most organizations don’t work in harmony with each other
**Competitive Market**
We will be competing against major business consulting companies such as Accenture (https://www.accenture.com/au-en/sap-index) and software competitors will include SAP (http://www.sap.com/australia/index.html)

**Wording to be used in Logo**
“Concerto Analytics” = Full company name
“Concerto” = main focus of the logo
“Analytics” = secondary focus of the logo, could be the same size as concerto or written smaller
**Use of Logo**
We will use the logo for websites, conference materials, business cards, letterheads, software splash screen, PowerPoint presentations and product definitions.
Target Market(s)
The key people we need to engage are the very senior executives at major mining companies. These people are highly educated and well travelled. We therefore need to feel premium, intelligent and elegant.

- **Preference for visual look**
- Something sophisticated, modern, high tech (like apple, not IBM).
- Not too ‘fussy’ looking. It should look relatively clean and simple.
- The logo needs to work well in a horizontal format for use in websites.
Should not have
- Although the name has a musical theme we don’t want musical notes, or overt musical imagery as we see that as being too ‘cutesy’.
- Many organizations that we compete with use a lot of imagery of mining equipment. We want to stand out against them so we are not interested in mining imagery.
