Logo Design Brief

Create a logo for an urban sawmill. As an urban sawmill, we are removing sick and dead trees from people's landscapes. Instead of throwing the wood in a chipper and having the wood go to waste, we are creating a new purpose for the tree, by creating them into unique & custom wood products, for the landowner.

Name of the co-op is 'Biome'. Tagline is "Urban Sawmill", which I want in the logo.

Target Market(s)

Environmentally conscious people, older millenial crowd, that are urban homeowners, that might have a few trees on their property.

Must have

• 1. The name of the co-op is 'Biome'.
• 2. Tagline is "Urban Sawmill", which I want in the logo.
• 3. Black and white or a greyscale scheme

Nice to have

• This urban sawmill is a local company in Minneapolis, MN. Making the logo uniquely Minnesotan will help residents with association and identification. Therefore, having trees and/or a profile of our state bird, a Common Loon, would also be nice.
• I have attached an "example" file from stock images/logos. I like the general idea of those logos.
