Logo Design Brief

I am an environmental Consultant, specializing in assessing the impacts of proposed development projects to the biophysical environment (i.e. primarily: vegetation, wildlife and water). I am looking for a logo that attempts to incorporate these three elements in a professional, fresh, innovative, and somewhat abstract design.

My specialization is in wildlife and bird studies, hence the company name (Canyon Wren). This connection is important to me, but should not be the sole focus of the design, as it has been to date (www.canyonwren.ca). The company is re-starting after a 7-year absence and this new logo should incorporate the wider breadth of the services and skills I can provide. The logo will obviously be used in a website update and on business cards.

• 2) a symbol that attempts to represent: water, vegetation (preferably a tree) and wildlife (either a bird or mammal track). Some figures that may serve as a basis for this symbol, or help stimulate idea, have been included in the uploaded files.
