T-shirt Design Brief

We need a logo and t shirt design for our BBQ teams entering into a BBQ wars competition.

I am think black t shirt with reversed out white. The name of our team is "The Meat Club" and by line is "Low & Slow".
I have attached a logo which is the kind of thing we are after but looking for a bit more creativity and something maybe appropriate for a BBQ
