We are a professional non-profit volunteer lead organization of Human Resource Professionals. We are looking for a logo design that looks like an actual cattle brand. (Please note: a cattle brand is the tool the cowboys of the old west used to mark cattle as their own. For more on cattle brands there is much on them via Google). We also want it to include Fort Worth HR (Also known as Fort Worth Human Resource Management Association) and can be incorporated into a family logo design that would showcase our conferences and projects. In other words, we can manipulate it (i.e. change a color and add a tag line as needed) to add in our projects and maintain brand identity. Our current website is www.fortworthhr.org and our current logo is there. We want to get away from the MA and Management Association and just become FWHR. We want to get away from the "longhorn" in the logo as it appears in our current logo but are not opposed to utilizing the longhorn. We are in Texas and so the western culture is important to us but not the driving factor. Think cattle brands, longhorns, boots, or even just words. If the words incorporated a hidden icon (like a boot or longhorn) that'd be great - think how the Arrow appears in the FedEx logo or how the Amazon Smile references everything from A to Z.

Project Deadline Extended Reason: I don't think many designers actually read the scope or specs as outlined for the project. Out of all the designs, there are only about 4 that are even in the ball park of what I asked for. The others - several designers submitted the same logo many times without even a tweak to the design. This eats up (and wastes) the space and opportunity for an actual decent design to be submitted. Must have
- Ability for us to manipulate it to add our individual project tag lines/conference names. In other words, a "family logo". What a family logo means is that when we have two conferences each year and two projects, we can either add a tag line or change the color to signify this as our event or conference utilizing the logo and tweaking it just for that event. Perhaps just a color change and the title of the event.
