At first let me tell you that your current project here on design crowd is for a design only not a functioning site however we are interested in working for your complete website design and development but you have to upgrade your project to a coded site and definitely need to increase the budget. Tentative cost for your complete functioning site(design and coding) would be $1000. Let me know if this lies your budget so we could choose to work.

-Do you need two different sign ups? One for students and the other for faculty. Please confirm.

Okay, I'll look into how to re-classify my project. I can increase my budget somewhat, but would need a more definite estimate before deciding to proceed. Here are the answers to your questions, and you can also see what I already have at the link I included in the initial project description (which they're not letting me include here).

1. For now I just need to have a way for students to register with the site, which is functionality already available within the site (and through MailChimp), so I don't know that there's too much work to do on this.
2. Registration would be free.
3. No approval required to register.

As further clarification, I will be collecting payment from admissions officers separately, and also adding the information they provide me to the site. In the future I would like them to manage their own information with their own password-protected account, but for now I'll handle this manually. Does this help clarify?

I would need the members area to be password protected, and the password would be provided in a confirmation email once somebody registers. I would like the main page of the members area to be designed as part of this project, and I would upload the content. Does this help clarify?
