There is nothing wrong with the project. :)
It's just a low amount for this part of the world. For some the amount might be enticing. (What might be a month's salary elsewhere is less than a day's wage here.) As an example: I'm sure you're Car Wash does a professional job, and you charge accordingly, but there is always someone that is willing to do the job for 50 cents. In the end you get what you pay for, it may be a good job or your car may come out worse then it was.

The problem is that you also risk getting sold a stolen or plagiarized logo, or some clipart that was pulled from the internet and used in violation of another site's Term of Use. A higher payout does not guarantee that you will not be ripped-off, by some unscrupulous so called "designer" (in fact it may also attract them). However, it would also assure you that more qualified and experienced designers participate.

Lastly, you may want to (at the very least) consider guaranteeing the payout. Keep in mind that most participants in the contest will not be getting a dime, but at least they can be assured that if they win, they will get paid. Thanks for listening, I wish you the very best for your contest. :)
