Logo Design Brief

Our company has been in the home inspection business for 33 years. We have had this logo for the last decade. The Blue Swoosh above represents E G however not many people recognize the EG.
We are going to drop "THE" from the Elite Group like Mark Z. did with The Facebook. Elite Group will be in bigger letters and the focal point below will be Inspection Services in smaller letters.
We want to bring a more modern look.

1) Possibly Keep The swirled EG look but make it more identifiable

2) Make another design for EG branding mark.

The dark picture is a design that we like.

The logo with white background is current logo.

OR Elite Group in Big Words and Inspections small words below.

However we are open to new concepts and creative ideas as well
