Logo Design Brief
PLEASE NOTE: this is an updated brief for 'Wicked Sweet Ice Cream.' Unfortunately, our attorney found a trademark issue. So, to be safe, we are now using "wicked sweet ice cream" as the tagline and are changing the store name to "The Fat Pirate."
We still may use a design that was submitted with "wicked sweet" since it is the tagline, but we are extending the deadline in case anyone wants to resubmit for the new name. We sincerely apologize for the late change.
PROJECT BRIEF:
We are a small artisan ice cream shop located on the waterfront in the Old Port section of Portland, Maine.
We make our own ice cream in the shop, serving both locals and tourists.
The logo will be going on black t-shirts and hats. The logo will also go on a sign that will be seen by many tourists walking in the Old Port.

Thanks to all of the designers who have submitted. I just want to add a note about our location that may peak a design idea. I am new to design crowd, so I am learning how to be more specific. Thanks for your patience.
Many artists have submitted a devil themed logo. The name "wicked" actually comes from a Maine term...like "wicked good".... it means "very" not necessarily "evil."
We are located on a working waterfront in Portland, Maine. So lobster boats are a big tourist draw. I would be interested to see if someone could create a design with colorful lobster bouys and just the text 'Wicked Sweet Ice Cream."

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Please see brief for an update on the project. We have been advised to change the store name due to a trademark issue. We are still using 'wicked sweet ice cream' as a tagline, so some of the submissions will still work. However, if you want to resubmit under the new store name it is 'The Fat Pirate."
