Logo Design Brief

We are looking for a new logo for our startup - CommunityLogiq.

We have developed a data analytics software platform for government planners, primarily in cities. We aggregate and visualize datasets from multiple sources (internal and external) and derive rapid meaning and insights for our users. We are considered to be a "Govtech" startup.

Today we target core city planning functions. including transportation/traffic and economic development staff members. Our ultimate goal is to provide predictive analytics to multiple aspects of community planning so cities and governments make more informed, data-driven decisions on how to allocate funds based on current and future needs.

We would like to see designs that embody a new company and approach to a stale vertical (government), professionalism and our ability to be innovative and disruptive. Example. Bringing artificial intelligence and machine learning to government data sets.

We currently have a website and logo in use (www.communitylogiq.com). The current logo was hashed together quickly and the 3D cube attempts to represent how many pieces come together in defining community, with our software helping with the final piece.

However, we are open to new ideas or concepts. This INCLUDES ABSTRACT LOGOs.

The coloring scheme of logo could be the same to what currently is on our site and what is attached. HOWEVER we are open to other ideas.

Screenshots of our actual product are attached, if that helps with understanding what we do.

Requirements

Must have

• Words should be Sans Serif but we are open to analyzing other modern fonts. We are looking for good balance between any symbols and words.

Nice to have

• If you are adding a pictorial/symbol/abstract in the logo- please explain your reasoning on the design and what it represents
• We like minimalist, clean pictorial/symbols if you decide to go that way. Our test is if we can see the symbol stand alone and be proud of our company. (Ie. give our employees tshirts with the logo)

Should not have

• -If we Google Image search the word "community" - we see a lot of logos and symbols that are being submitted as designs to this project. We are not looking for a logo that has representations of people or individuals or kumbaya hand holding. This is not what we mean with the name CommunityLogiq.
• -Your submission should not look similar to our current logo. Our explanation of our current logo was to give you insights on our thought process and relay it to our initial design choice and current logo. We are hoping creative designers can think of our product, mission and thought process and come up with something 10x better.
