Logo Design Brief
We need a logo for our company, which is based out of beautiful British Columbia, Canada. We individually handcraft all of our high quality wood products. We aim to communicate sophistication, professionalism, and heirloom quality, yet being friendly and approachable.
We would like the logo (or some basic form of it) to work with a branding iron, as we brand many of our products that way; furniture, butcher blocks, etc. Ideally the logo could be extended to other promotional items like shirts, business cards, social media, banners, etc.
Thank you in advance!

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Hello all! Thank you so much for your creative, clever, and thoughtful submissions. We didn't expect to get so many great submissions, so we are finding it difficult to agree on one. We will choose one shortly. Sorry for the delay. Thanks for your patience and all your work!

Requirements
Must have
- - A bit of flexibility. A logo is essentially what I'm after, but having the logo be flexible for a variety of uses would be great. I would like to be able to use the logo (or a variation of it) for anything from social media/web to product branding to promotional and marketing items.
- - Easily recognizable, easy to read
Nice to have
- - Some ideas: I had previously considered a signature logo and a vintage/retro/hipster logo.
- - A small amount of colour could be alright
- - Ideally one that wouldn't go 'out of style' as the trends change
Should not have
- - Ideally not have too many graphics or multiple colours
- - Any saw blades, crossed axes, hammers, etc. Many people with similar businesses in my area have some of these graphic elements.
