Can anyone explain to me please why the 1st and the 2nd place are almost the same logos? :S thanks...

Because my business partner was pursuing the second logo with that designer, he had made more than a few configuration change requests, so we decided that we should award the second similar designer something for his time... Thank god we have the same taste.. It was a tough decision, amongst all the incredible designs we recieved..
