Logo Design Brief

With an army of one I'm setting up my own firm to do cyber security consulting. The name of the firm is Pavisade Ltd. A Pavisade is defined as "A row of shields hung on the side of a ship to protect it at war and discourage boarding by enemies".

The definition fits well with the approach;
Good security is layered and multifaceted
Good security attempts to discourage illegal behavior
Good security isn't always a technical solution, people and process are equally as important.
Good security comes from understanding the attacker
Good security is forward leaning and pro-active

The final design should communicate innovation, reliability, trustworthy, security.

Target Market(s)

The company will be targeting Govt, national and enterprise cyber security challenges. The approach will be to help the client ask the right questions, define the problem and deliver the solution, no matter how challenging.

Requirements

Must have

• Looking at the designs so far I'm liking 'Pavisade' with a logo either above or to the left side of the wording.

Should not have

• The Company name 'Pavisade' is the only lettering that should be on the logo. So avoid putting anything like 'cyber security consultancy' on the logo as well. Having seen some of the designs it's now become clear that I prefer it that way.
