Logo Design Brief

I'm setting up an online store for selling fountain pens (and related items) into the Swiss market. Creating something similar to www.gouletpens.com in the US.

As Switzerland has multiple official languages, I would like something simple that can work in each of the languages. First sites will be called "the Inkwell" (English) and "der Tintenfass" (German).

I would like to have a logo that can be used on the website initially, but can then be used on promotional material, documentation, business cards, etc.

The feeling I would like to project is something along the lines of the English Gentleman, with a modern twist, but keeping things quite simple. Probably around standard ink colours (blue/black).

Target Market(s)

Switzerland
mid to high end. Elegant
probably aimed more at the English speaking / Ex pat crowd, but should be inclusive for all languages.
