Logo Design Brief

I run my own business working as a life coach, motivational speaker and mountain guide. I have two ideas for the logo design - either a logo that includes my name plus my initials JAC, or a logo with my name and a symbol. Either way, the logo design should communicate challenge, growth, movement, achievement. I like designs that are clean and elegant. I would like the logo to include the colours blue and green, and brown and grey tones could be used for accent (I would like the logo to pick up on colours that will appear in landscape images on my website).

• Thank you to everyone who has submitted a design. I have some good examples of using my initials as part of the logo, but having tried them in my website I would like to see if I could create something more colourful and unusual. One symbol that fits with my mountain travels and coaching is the mandala. I've attached a picture of a mandala I like and with good colours (I particularly like the strong, contrasting red against the cooler blue, green and white). I copied and pasted it into the header of my home page to show how it might look (see attached picture). I know the mandala design is very intricate, but could someone try and create a simplified alternative? I apologise that this is a long way from the original brief and hope you can help.
