Web Design Brief
We need your help in designing the graphical look of the home page of our web site: ZervBox.com.
Zervbox is an FREE online service that brings consumers and service providers together through online reservations.
Our service is in fact a web application (similar to google calendar), so we will be using forms, widgets, menus and standard web controls (buttons, fields, links, etc). We need a design that will be easy to integrate with our programming.
This design project is for the HOME page, but we will choose the designer that will design the web page in photoshop in layers, so we can easily derive our other secondary pages ourselves.
If you have any questions please send us a message and we will gladly update the brief with a response.

Hi all, the menu on the home page should be something standard, like: Pricing, features, how it works.
once a user is logged in, they will see their toolbox at all times:
- My Box (links to their main page of bookings)
- My Faborites (view favorite businesses and book quickly with them)
- Settings (set parameters of their account)
There should be a My Profile page as well.

Hi All,
UPDATE: we changed our vision of the home page to have a much simpler design. something along the lines of facebook twitter and linked in.
HOME PAGE:
light colors with white background. simple, simple, simple!
header should not be big, logo, change language link. try with search bar (what and where).
body should be simple, with an image + register form only.
footer with links to pages for more info:
- Privacy,
- Getting started
- How it works
- Contact us
- FAQ
- Pricing
LOGGED IN PAGE:
when logged in, the header can be the same or reduced to maximize the "working area" (body).
body can be a 2 or 3 column design, as we have a main working area. in your design, show a calendar. we need a toolbar (side or top) that will have these buttons, links: MyBox, My Favorites, Settings, My Profile.
We need a section that will display latest messages or notifications.
keep the footer with the links.

- home page will have a content slider that will show some catch phrases.
- Overall design should be more on the "cartoony" side. Should give a casual, humour and friendly ambiance.
The home page should have these sections:
- a search section for consumers to find local businesses. They will search by specifying "What?" & "Where?"
- a content slider that will cycle through catch phrases and features. Each pane should have an image representative of the text.
- have 4 highlighted sections
- ZervBox is great for (list of different businesses types that use zerbox)
- ZervBox is available for FREE to everyone
- Main features list (accept 24/7 reservations, never reveal your schedule, automatic reminders, marketing campaigns)
- The more you zerv, the more you save! (info on our loyalty program that entitles consumers to greater savings and benefits).
One a user logs in, all the certer page info will be replaced by a content div that will allow content to display based on selected menu item
- My Box (opens the main section where all happens. This section should have a design that gives the impression that we're looking in a box)
- My Profile
- My Favorites
