Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for our upcoming 20th anniversary. We are a community development lender serving the Western U.S. We help bridge the finance gap between conventional lending standards and the needs of low-income and distressed communities. Every loan that we finance makes a positive, measurable impact on the community. We offer loans for small businesses, community facilities, affordable housing, commercial projects, and more. Our goal is to help build healthy communities.

For our 20th, our colors are dark (almost navy) blue and copper. Our actual logo is blue and gold (see attached). This logo will be used throughout the event, and on all signage & print material (planning for metallic here), including our annual report, as well as on the web. We're seeking something elegant and warm, appropriate for a financial institution that focuses on helping the community. I will be happy to share annual report design plans, as well, which will probably influence logo design.
