Book Cover Design Brief

I have a completed manuscript for a fiction novel about 3 women whose partners work away in fly in fly out (FIFO) jobs. One woman has three young kids (boy, 8, boy 6 and girl 18months old), one woman is the first woman's sister and is young and beautiful but a bit troubled and one woman works on reception at a strip club. All three want to be independent but still miss their lovers. Location is the Midwest of Western Australia where there are beautiful beaches, blue skies and crayfish. The title is 'Every Third Tuesday My Lover Leaves Me.' Author's name is Kate Venn. I need a book cover design. I am unsure whether to try and capture the spirit of those women or the landscape or do a simple graphic design like crosses on a dateless calendar, counting down the days (Two weeks crossed off then one happy week when the lover is home and then another two sad weeks). The final design should lure people in to want to read the text. Thank you

Women, particularly those who are struggling with being a stay at home lover.

Must Have:
- Soul, an understanding of the complexity of loneliness. The women are strong and interesting- not flaky. This is NOT a romance novel. It is a quirky story with heart.

Nice to Have:
- A design that is striking but not too busy

Should Not Have:
- No trashy images of women. Should NOT look like a romance novel.
