Logo Design Brief
We have created a family forum website for approx. 150 family members. This mainly includes persons whom are all shareholders into the same companies, but the idea around the website is that it brings together all the members of a family, many of them who don't know each other and many of them who live in different countries than the home country of our family, Luxemburg.
The name of the website is Polaris, the polar star or the star of the North (sorry for my english, i'm from Europe). The polar star is there to show us the way to go when we may have lost the direction or to remind us what are our common goals.
We have thought of a logo showing people who join hands (see attached file) and that also includes the polar star idea.
We look for a simple, colourful logo. The only text should be the word "Polaris".

Hello to all Designers,
Thank you for your great interest in our request. We have received more than 170 proposals ! We will now submit approx. 10-15 designs to our decision board (6 persons) for a poll. We should receive their answer quite quickly. The best design will be advised asap.
Please note that designs submitted as from now may not be withheld for the final decision process.

The poll to our review board is now finished and the best design has been announced. If you are not the winner, I would like to personnally thank you for your time and investment in our project and the quality of your work. I have always tried to give as much feedback as I could, time allowing. This was the first I used this plattform but I will certainly use it again soon.
