Web Design Brief
The Ayiti Community Trust is a grant-making agency that seeks to build an emotionally engaging and informative site that portrays Haiti from an asset lens. We want to focus on the opportunities for growth while highlighting the current opportunity to give to a worthy cause.
Users will be Haitians, Friends of Haiti, and Media who are potential donors, innovators and decision makers.
We envision a home page with a horizontal navigation bar (with About us, Impact/Our work/Projects, Donate, Contact us, Meet the team, and Haiti’s assets/facts/resources/research) a series of large horizontal images (with dissolving motion) and language underneath the image that describes who we are and what we do.
We currently have content for the tabs below:
About us: Ayiti Community Trust - The Trust is the country’s first endowed fund building on Haiti’s assets while providing resources for scalable solutions.
The Trust addresses three essential pillars for a thriving Ayiti: environment, entrepreneurship, and civic education. We will invest in water resources focusing in an integrative and systemic way on the lasting impact of this approach.
Donate: A link to the Miami Foundation and statement about Hurricane Matthew. “Giving for Outcomes”
Sustainable Funding: Links to articles and resources that show our theory of change while highlighting facts about Haiti.
Meet the team: A list of names and images of the board
Also in the same frame we would like 3 tiles titled The Environment, Entrepreneurship, Civic Engagement with an option to scroll over for additional information.
Lastly the link to donate should be featured prominently and several times along with cues that lead people to find out more about the facts and the Sustainable Funding page.
We prefer limited scrolling and would like to see a clean yet modern approach to this funding platform.
Thank you and looking forward!
