Logo Design Brief
I'm looking for an organic, natural or stylized logo for a YouTube Channel and Blog called - affectionately - "10,000 Nickels". I'm planning on this being an idea video blog for DIY and home-based projects and ideas centered on living efficiently (with the longer term goal of financial independence).
The inspiration behind the name is that a single nickel may be nothing, tens-of-thousands would equal something significant. The same analogy being true in real life ... save a nickel here and there and eventually it adds up.
For reference, a few of the other brands in this space are www.mrmoneymustache.com (like his logo) and www.madfientist.com (not a great logo) and www.biggerpockets.com

All - I've updating the design brief based on the designs I've received (which are, overall, underwhelming). I added examples of other logos I've found for inspiration. - I am looking for natural / organic / stylized logos. I've attached other logos as inspiration for the types of styles / elements I'm looking for. Please also browse http://logo.designcrowd.com/logo-design-gallery/natural for additional ideas.
Nice to have
- I had the idea of using the buffalo as a "mascot" for the brand. In the past, the United States minted a "Buffalo Nickel" (http://bit.ly/buffalo10knickel) and I had envisioned using that as a starting point. BUT, I don't want a carbon copy of a buffalo nickel. If you use the buffalo, I would like some kind of stylized, hand-drawn, creative spin on the concept.

- Please do not submit Amateur logos or Lettermark logos. If it looks like something I could design in 5-minutes, it will be eliminated. I came here to get a logo that I *can't* design on my own.
