Logo Design Brief

We're looking for a logo and branding for a new platform we're rolling out. The product combines a web based platform and a smartphone app to help streamline vehicle, asset and plant (machinery) inspections. Our focus is on proving that the human inspector was in a position to make a decent assessment of the thing they're supposed to be inspecting. We use a machine vision process to match the feed coming in from the smartphone camera to a reference image and gauge the similarity of the two to prove location. We also allow users to scan RFID/NFC tags with their (android) phones to prove presence as well. Vigil is all about managing inspection processes and providing a record of inspections to mitigate health and safety issues, improve uptime and prevent accidents. We're active in road and rail logistics, waste and recycling collection, mining and quarry operations and production lines.
