We need an engaging illustration showing how our business alliance of 10,00 farmers can do what one farmer alone cannot. We welcome all suggestions, however what we had in mind was a brochure cover with a cut-out of a "lone" farmer. When you open up the brochure you see there are thousands of other farmers standing behind him -- perhaps in a field, perhaps in a farm yard, etc.
While the illustration can be fun and stylized, we are not interested in the typical urban version of a hayseed farmer in straw hat and overalls. Today's progressive farmer is a savvy businessman who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. He is smart, technologically astute, and manages assets worth millions of dollars. The majority of our farmers operate grain farms -- some have beef cattle as well, so the illustration can include some ranchers. Women should also be prominently featured.
It is also possible to use stylized 3-D stickpeople for the farmers.
It's possible this illustration could serve as the basis for a series of advertising illustrations, and we may be interested in crowd sourcing the design work of both the whole brochure and the subsequent ads as well.
We've uploaded stock photos of 1) a young farmer and 2) a typical combine -- merely as two examples of the type of things/people we want illustrated.
