Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a new company based in Spain but with activities all around the Globe. The company name is: "Proyectos y Bionergía S.L." or P-B for short.

We will develop energy plants that burn agricultural residue like wheat straw to produce electricity and we will do that in connection with farmers, utilities and investors. The plants we develop will last for 30 years+ and we need to convince stakeholders that this is a sound and proven company able to deliver an excellent long run performance.

I have a preference for designs like AEG, GE, Mercedes or FIAT in the sense that I like some compact and strong. I strongly dislike Asian car logos which look all irrelevant and lacking character to me. I would prefer a design with a limited number of colors.
