Logo Design Brief

I need a logo to put on my jars of honey. Bees in my yard make the honey. I plan to give the honey to family and friends. I want a fun logo that is colourful and interesting. I might sell a little honey eventually.

Name: Dee Gees Bees

Brief: The name is a pun on Bee Gees. I would like a 70s/disco theme, and the logo should feature the typography itself heavily. I also like bright colours and juicy curves. Silhouettes in a 70s theme also good.
I am based in Sydney. My first name is David (statue of David might work for a silhouette). My initials are DG (hence the name). Some inclusion of usual imagery for beekeeping (bees, honeycomb) might be ok but I don't want it to look cliche or unoriginal.

The logo will be put on a sticker and then on to 200ml cylindrical jars. Probably a rectangular sticker, but I might look into custom shaped vinyl stickers, depending on the winning design.
