The idea of using the lantern and pole is brilliant, however the shape of the "M" has an almost oriental look to it that will not work for us.
We are also concerned that the small details of the lanterns will not translate well to business cards, what do you think?
Can you alter the design of the "M" with the two lanterns? Can you use the lantern and pole in a different way with the logo? Possibly with just one lantern and pole, but larger?

I wanted to put out a potential idea. I like the look of incorporating the image of a cupola on a roofline with the logo. A cupola is dome-like structure on top of a building. It is Often used to provide a lookout or to admit light and air.
This is not a must-have, just an idea. I will post a pic of cupolas and a roofline image that might work. I will label the pics "cupola logo."
