I must say that it appears a bit strange for you to put this offer on Designcrowd when you have stated that you have a network of designers, illustrators and copywriters. Who do jobs at "a fraction of the price of other suppliers".

And then you dont have payment guaranteed. No offence but it looks like you are only after our ideas for free and will let one of your designers do it in the end anyways.

that is a really good point but completely misguided - I have a couple of designers who have not been able to come up with a logo that I like (they are not logo designers, more look and feel and image search). I will pay for the logo if I like it but am not prepared to guarantee a payment when I don't know what I am going to get. I guess this comes down to trust; this is a start up business and I don't think that screwing over someone is a particularly clever way to start a business. But of course it is your prerogative whether to get involved or not.

all the best

One other thing to note is that any designer who submits a good design, whether they win or not, will be invited to join this network I am putting in place. I am always looking for freelance designers to add to my network.

It is worth understanding that when I say that we can provide services cheaper than existing channels I am referring to advertising agencies charging Madison Avenue and West End prices; it is exactly because i am using this more free form style of creative that I am able to set this business up.

thanks for all the submissions - perhaps we are trying to do too much with the logo; think it might need to be a lot simpler...
