Logo Design Brief

I need a new logo for my food blog - http://kitchensanctuary.com.
I use my blog as a hobby, and also as a résumé for clients (I'm a freelance writer and photographer too).
I need the logo to look clean and professional, but I'd also like it to look warm, friendly and inviting. It needs to be food-related too.
I like the style of the font (Mathilde font) on my current logo, and I think I'd like to keep the current tagline ('a cosy corner to nourish the food lover in you'). I'm not 100% sure on that though.
I made my current logo, which I like, but I think it looks a bit 'homemade'.
The logo needs to be 800 pixels x 340 pixels. I'd like it to fill as much of that space as possible widthways - rather than being a square logo.
I've attached my current logo.
